Von Dirk celebrates automotive subcultures. Standing at the crossroads where art and adventure collide. Von Dirk shares the love of machines, the journeys, the people, and the stories that unfold on the open road.
We celebrate the old, the new, and the worn, where patina and perfect paintwork can share a workshop. Whether you’re riding, driving, or sitting shotgun, navigating the city’s hustle or out on the easy-going vibe of sun-soaked roads, take it all in and capture everything. The thrill of the build, the freedom of the ride, and the spirit that flows through motion—we’re here to tell the stories and share the experiences.
So, come along for the ride. Explore the culture, art, and craft that inspires Von Dirk, because, in every journey, there’s a story worth telling.

How often do you get the chance to watch historic sports cars running full chat on GP circuits? The Masters Historic Racing team deliver even more excitement by pitching big muscule cars against smaller-engined sports prototypes and GT cars. A key annual event that brings together an expertly curated collection of custom motorcycles, from all over the world, mixed with live music, art, photography, and hand-made accessories. With great food and drink too, it’s as much a social affair as it is a bike show.

Speed, Scenery, and Shutters – a Dream Road Trip to Spa Classic 2019
Romance, history, speed – Spa-Francorchamps has it all and what better way to experience this wonderful racetrack than with the sights and sounds of classic race cars. There’s also the added bonus of a fantastic road trip if you avoid the motorways, time to fire up the 911 and head on over to the mainland.

Squadron Scramble May 2019
Get up early on Sunday mornings, and a whole host of adventures are waiting for you. This week, I headed over to Essex with some of the Porsche GB crew for a gentle drive.
Another Sunday and another breakfast meet-up. This was my first time attending Squadron Scramble Cars & Coffee at North Weald Airfield, over in Essex. I think I spent almost as long driving around the airfield perimeter road as I did driving from Kent. I hadn’t appreciated how expansive North Weald is on previous visits for drag racing events.

Bicester Heritage Sunday Scramble, April 2019 – A Celebration of Automotive Diversity
The Sunday Scramble started off as a small cars and coffee event, but it’s become an institution in its own right. It brings together a real mix of cars, owners, and enthusiasts—where else can you see a bare-bones 1920s Rolls Royce parked alongside a Renault 5 turbo?

GRRC Spring Sprint, April 2019
The GRRC Spring Sprint is a perfect opportunity for a spirited drive down to Chichester to watch a broad mix of machinery thrashing out lap times. It’s also relatively quiet spectator-wise.

Goodwood 77th Members Meeting
Having seen images and footage from previous Members Meetings, I knew I had to attend. To do so, you need to be a GRRC member. I joined as a Fellow primarily so I could attend this event over any of the other benefits and I think it was worth the joining fee.

Chilling Thrills at the MGJ Engineering Winter Stage Rally 2019
Another chance to watch a great mixture of different rally cars racing on timed stages. It’s also a refreshingly different use of Brands Hatch – how ofter do you get to see cars racing through the pits, the wrong way?
