Modified cars on Druid Street, South London

Wet Sunday mornings in South London are ForeverGood

With a gathering planned at ForeverGood in Druid Street, it was time to venture out into the rain. The Indian stayed in the garage this time. A warm, dry car felt like the sensible choice as South London disappeared beneath grey skies and steady drizzle.

The weather did little to discourage anyone. By the time we arrived, a small collection of cars had already gathered outside. Inside, coffee flowed, conversations started and people sheltered from the rain while keeping one eye on the machinery parked in the street.

Over the last year or so, Seb and the team at ForeverGood have created something that keeps people coming back. The mix changes each time, but the atmosphere remains the same. Relaxed, welcoming and built around a shared appreciation for the culture that surrounds the machines.

The conditions may not have been ideal, but perhaps the rain is what made the morning memorable.
